bossymarmalade: blue eye with lashes of red flower petals (whatever)
Darlingest Lynn;

As a JC fan, I agree with you that trends are trends and everybody goes along with different ones. I learned this while I spent time at the Cult of Chris Kirkpatrick filling out giant quizzes about "how I'm going to die", which was some time after it was all about the JoLa/the Fine Kirkpatrick Ass, but before everybody Fucked Jive Hard. I think there might have been manponies or manpanties (maybe manpurses) somewhere in there, too, but it may have been more around the time of Chris' and Lance's Big Gay Honeymoon or when everybody became "lickable." Really, my memory isn't that good because all of these trends died a pretty natural death, didn't they, Lynn?

Anyhow, gotta go. Hope Brazil's treating you nice.

Love,
Maggie

I neglected to mention earlier that I'm home today, because I have a cold or flu or something. All I know is that I drank a glassful of V8 with enough jalapeno Tabasco sauce in it to drown a goat, and it isn't helping relieve my congestion any. Dammit! Looks like I have no choice but to rely on medication.

Anyhow, in more healthy news, the Wee Sister has finished refurbishing her non-HP webpage, which is a thing of much happiness. Because if there's anybody better at drawing underage Superboy/Robin smut, I haven't found them. Except, why don't you have your popslash pictures up, bitch? You've got freakin' Clark & Lex up, and hobbits galore, and no sparkles? Don't MAKE me take you to church!

I saw a video for a Wyclef Jean song called "Industry" this morning. I don't recall hearing that song on any of his albums. Wyclef's one of those people who put out things and you go, "Weh?" and then have to try and track them down, because they don't exist on any of the albums you currently own and they sure as hell haven't been popular in your non hiphop-friendly neck o'the woods. Although, it's better now than it used to be; living right over Seattle, it used to be all grunge and folk and stuff. Now the urban scene is louder, but not necessarily more varied.

But I digress. Wait, no I don't, I didn't have any particular point. Eh. Time for more tomato juice, and this time, I'll put my mother's homemade peppersauce in it. owie.
