bossymarmalade: blue eye with lashes of red flower petals (otp)

remember? it's the same day as the dog's birthday!

Some mornings, waking up rocks.

Especially when it's a foggy Friday, and [livejournal.com profile] mdbl has drawn schoolboy Lambs for you, and the security guard is reading some obscure self-help book authored by a person with the first name of "Bo", and you see a really ugly but really happy man in drag on your way into the office, and you've discovered that maybe LotRPS is pretty interesting.

But the crowning touch is when the snugworthy sneaker-, basketball-, and hiphop-obsessed Justin to your Chris presents you with a birthday fic, and it's all about creative visualization and Timbertrick and boiling like water for chocolate and food, glorious food and it makes you laugh and love and theoretically snuggle it to your bosom, because doing it for real might be kinda hard.

And the best thing is, I get to share my present with all of you! So go--read and giggle and get hungry, because there's nothing better than kitchen Timbertrickery, and Katie is so smrtlikeJustin, and the scrawly purple cover of the cookbook makes me cry with delight. Thank you so much, sweetie. And, yay! Happy faux-birthday to me!

The Creative Visualization Cookbook

Why do you post about sweet, foodie stories when I'm at work and can't read them? Huh? Huh?! ;)

A very merry unbirthday to you.

Oh, don't--I'll start singing the song, and that won't be good for anybody. *g*

And the fic will still be there when you get home! With all the recipes!! And Justin meticulously washing his hands and setting out all his ingredients and measuring the vegetables with a little ruler when he cubes them!! It makes me insanely happy. ^_^

Awww, Justin and his little neatnik ways. He needs his own cooking show, one where La Timbelake, as he titles himself, shows you how to cook pot roast, mashed potatoes, and baby carrots, and how to make sure the gravy never touches the mashed potatoes.

ohmygod. I would kill everybody in this room (namely, Cute Receiving Bitch, but I won't miss him much) to see that. Especially since I have a well-documented (http://maggiecat.tripod.com/hlots/cooking.html) history of obsession with cooking shows, yo.

You are eee-vol.

Oh he so does! Wouldn't that just be the best ever?

how to make sure the gravy never touches the mashed potatoes

Awwww... you're very snugworthy yourself. Glad you liked and that you're having such a lovely day.

Oi--the memories. I always loved that H:LotS piece. And thanks for the Justin/Chris story link--I read it and liked it very much; it's a great unbirthday gift!

funny enough, the story, duh, made me hungry, and what did I eat. An *onion* bagel, what was my mother cutting downstairs? *fresh garlic*...this story has permiated my house! I so want Justin to cook for me.
